We aren’t perfect…so why does the media keep trying to fool us into thinking that we can be perfect??

Hey ya’ll!!

I was having one of those moments this morning. I couldn’t get anything to look right. My hair looked a mess, I changed my outfit several times, and I didn’t feel like putting on any makeup. Just all around feeling kind of blah!!! But the day most go on because I had 30 minutes to get to work. When I got to work I sat down for a few minutes with my green tea a thumbed through a magazine. Needless to say I’m having a less the perfect morning and got a little annoyed by all of the fakeness. Excuse my language but…who do these bitches think they are fooling!??

The media: magazines, the internet television, all of it is LIES lol Not to say that I don’t enjoy them but they give us unrealistic views of what we should look like. Now the paparazzi is a different story lol they give it to you unedited. And because of the pap I know that these celebrities don’t look nearly as perfect as the media tries to make them!

Forget about Instagram filters! I’m talking about the real deal. Professional photoshoppers!!! aka EVIL lol! But seriously come on! We can’t possibly wonder why so many of our young people refuse to eat or will barf as soon as they have a good sized meal! It’s because they wanna look like what they see in the magazines!

Ok…I’m sorry for yelling : )

Anyway *woooosaaah* after having a moment I googled (and I am a google queen by the way lol master looker uper) some photoshopped pics and ran across these that had descriptions of what have been changed. Some of the changes you probably would not have even noticed! And some are ridiculous! I think one of them has totally different legs and Madonna looks about 2 years younger than the crypt keeper! LOL

I say that to say this…

It is impossible to achieve the “perfectness” portrayed in the media. So we shouldn’t even try. In my opinion…our flaws and imperfections are what make us beautiful. I damn sure don’t wanna what makes me different to be edited away! #shouldershrug
